Final Images

These are my final images for my project Personality and Identity. i think they have worked out well showing both of these things through animals and I think that once properly presented and put up in the exhibition they will work even better.

Experimenting with quirky images

With the quirky photos I had taken, i decided it would be a good idea to expeiment with different techniques to get people to look more closely at my images. Below are a couple of digital solarisations I did. I think these worked quite well and i quite liked the effect given by the images.

I also created some images with human eyes instead of the animals eyes. I like the strange effect given in these images as it was to show how some people think people impose personalities on the animals so the human eyes reflect this.

I also created some footprint images using the photos I had taken although i prefer my other two techniques to this one.

Filter Experiments

in these images I experimented with a blue filter. i used the blue section of my car's windscreen to experiment with the effect that it could give. I quite liked how it showed bright colours in the images and highlighted the sky and i quite like this effect and think it my work well with my final ideas.

Identity Portraits

Here are some Identity portraits I shot for my identity tags I created. Below are the unedited versions of the images, i think they worked well overall as I think they show identity and personality well through the images.

Multiple Exposures Vs Long Exposures

Here is an example of one of my multiple exposure experiments I created. This was taken at an As It Is gig in Nottingham during set up. I quite like the use of multiple exposures in photography to show movement and i think with people and animals they can work better than long exposures,(see the second image)

Identity Labels

Using some of the images i had taken for my personality portraits I created identity tags of people and in the images tried to show their identity best. Here are the finished products below:

Here are some portraits I did to try and show personality through clothing,location and also the items in the photos, i think they went quite well overall!
